Business Development Executive - Fixed Term Contract

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client Just Eat Takeaway for a Business Development Executive to join their team in Galway. This role focuses on acquiring new restaurant partners, managing pipelines, and driving growth across key territories. Contract 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: GALWAY, MAYO, ROSCOMMON, CLARE, SLIGO, DONEGAL, LEITRIM, CAVAN, LONGFORD, MONAGHAN

Working hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours weekly. Hours can vary depending on meetings with restaurant partners from 9:00–17:30 or 10:00–18:30.

Responsibilities

- Maximise the potential of existing Just Eat Takeaway restaurants through building significant and mutually beneficial commercial relationships.
- Educate Restaurant Partners to provide the best possible customer service and experience to their consumers.
- Play an integral role in the onboarding process of all new signings, ensuring that new restaurants are visited within 14 days of going online and are optimised for success.
- Prioritise order growth, via activated restaurants, as the measure of success and mentor Restaurant Partners on the vital steps to achieve this in their business.
- Use internal platforms (Salesforce, Restaurant Manager) to identify key opportunities for Restaurant Partner growth and to drive personal efficiencies.
- Leverage data and internal tools to identify growth opportunities and drive effective strategies.

Your profile

What will you bring to the table?

- Experience in a B2B sales or account management role: 2-5 years
- A desire to take ownership of ambitious targets
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- A passion for learning and self-improvement
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- An exceptional work ethic and the desire to make a difference
- Full clean Irish driving licence - company car and fuel card provided
