The business is now expanding into the Irish market and is seeking an experienced Head of Ecommerce to drive digital performance, shape commercial strategy, and deliver sustained growth. The environment is ambitious, collaborative and data‑driven, with a strong focus on continually improving the digital experience for customers.

Responsibilities

Shape and execute the ecommerce strategy for the Irish market, translating wider group objectives into a clear growth plan.

Drive commercial performance across online channels, ensuring strong trading, sales, conversion and margin delivery.

Lead development of go‑to‑market plans, informed by analysis of customer behaviour, competitive dynamics and market trends.

Work closely with commercial finance teams to manage forecasting, budgeting and investment planning.

Tailor product, pricing and promotional strategies to meet local customer needs, ensuring alignment with broader commercial priorities.

Collaborate with marketing, product and technology teams to refine digital journeys, enhance campaigns and optimise platform performance.

Support the introduction of new product categories and feature releases, ensuring they are properly adapted for the Irish market.

Provide local market insight to guide regional and global decisions, acting as the voice of the customer within the organisation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners and relevant market stakeholders.

Represent the business externally to build brand visibility and support commercial relationships.

Oversee operational execution within the country, ensuring compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements.

Track delivery against agreed KPIs/OKRs and champion continuous improvement through strong reporting and performance management.

Build and lead a high‑performing local team; set clear priorities, ensure cross‑functional alignment and foster a collaborative, innovative culture.

Requirements

Significant experience in senior commercial, ecommerce or general management roles within a consumer‑facing business.

Proven success launching and scaling digital propositions in new or evolving markets.

Strong understanding of financial planning and performance management, ideally with experience working closely with finance teams.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives across product, marketing, technology and operations.

Experience managing suppliers, partners and commercial agreements within competitive markets.

Commercially astute with evidence of improving trading performance, conversion and revenue growth.

Skilled in using data and analytics to inform decision‑making, segmentation, personalisation and optimisation.

Strong leadership capability, with a track record of developing teams and fostering high performance.

Ability to operate effectively in fast‑moving and dynamic environments; resilient, adaptable and solutions‑driven.

Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to engage senior stakeholders and represent the business externally.

Experience in regulated or publicly‑listed environments.

Exposure to multinational contexts or global operating models.

Market knowledge in travel, retail, hospitality or leisure.

37.5 hours per week.

Regular travel to UK a requirement.
