Job Description:
As a Chef de Partie at Balfes Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty.
Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating new menu items.
Managing and training any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis working with you.
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and following health and safety regulations.
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail.
