Job Title: Health & Safety Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our team at ward-personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on commercial building projects in Dublin.

About the Role:
  • Implement and maintain the company's HSEQ policy, procedures, and management systems.
  • Assist site management in drafting and communicating Method Statements, Safe Plans of Action, and Tool Box Talks.
  • Provide guidance and instruction on health and safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees (including sub-contractors).
  • Deliver health and safety induction programs for new employees or sub-contractors working on site.
  • Conduct regular inspections and site audits, reporting findings to site and senior company management.
  • Investigate and report all accidents, providing suitable notification to the Directors, Health & Safety Authority, and Insurers as required.
  • Compile relevant information for inclusion in the Safety File and prepare for handover to the Client at the end of the project.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Health & Safety.
  • Experience in health and safety for a contractor in the Irish or UK markets.
  • Excellent IT skills and communication abilities.
