Role Purpose: Responsible for supporting the Project Planning team in the successful range review planning of large complex range change across the B&Q Estate. Support to ensure any range change activity planned is set up to be delivered right first time, and has all the tools and communication requirements in place for a successful implementation.

What's the job?

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to the Project Planning team to ensure all required administration is in place to allow a successful project implementation.
2. Provide a robust method for consistent communication to internal and external parties.
3. Have a good understanding of the project(s) being completed and be able to ask questions to clarify points as required.
4. Prepare in advance for key and routine meetings, ensuring facilities are booked, clear agenda is in place and all parties are aware of the required meeting outputs.
5. Support production of presentation materials as required.
6. Liaise with 3rd parties as required.
7. Support the CP in the reporting of costs on a monthly basis.
8. Support in the collation and manipulation of data to support the project delivery.

What we need:

Required Skills/Experience:

1. Communicating; balances talking and listening in meetings, communicates simply and clearly, shares ideas and information with others.
2. Problem solving and decision making; actively seeks and is open-minded to ideas, resolves issues promptly but also allows others to provide solutions.
3. Planning and delivering; understands and can describe how they contribute to the functional strategy and plan, works hard to achieve or exceed targets and objectives set for self, maintains focus, energy and effort when under pressure.
4. Working with others; builds effective relationships with peers outside own team, understands the impact of their own behaviour on others and modifies accordingly, not afraid to tackle conflict or confront others when problems occur.
5. MS Office Skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
6. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
7. Able to work under tight deadlines and react to changing priorities.
8. Prior experience of supporting the delivery of range change projects would be advantageous.
