PROPERTY LOSS ADJUSTER

A leading insurance provider is expanding its specialist claims team and is seeking an experienced Property Loss Adjuster. This is a field-based role supporting customers across Ireland through the full claim's lifecycle — from on-site assessment to resolution. You'll join a collaborative and well-supported team, with the opportunity to work on diverse and complex property claims while making a real impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage a portfolio of property claims from initiation to resolution, maintaining a customer-first approach
- Conduct on-site assessments of loss/damage and compile accurate findings and reports
- Communicate with customers and third parties in a clear and empathetic manner
- Negotiate settlement outcomes aligned with regulatory, business, and customer service objectives
- Deliver case decisions within designated authority levels and company processes
- Handle enquiries efficiently, escalating as necessary to maintain service excellence
- Support surge event management when required to ensure continued service delivery

REQUIREMENTS

- CIP qualified
- 3+ years' experience in property loss adjusting
- Dip LA or working towards ACILA/ACII (desirable but not essential)
- Experience dealing with brokers and a diverse customer base
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills
- Full clean driving licence (field-based role)
