
Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our established payroll team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end processing of payroll across assigned entities, including all leave and payroll-related information. This will involve supervising the accurate and efficient completion of payroll calculations, including PAYE, PRSI, USC, and Pensions, as well as statutory and voluntary deductions.
In addition, the role will require managing Revenue Real-Time Payroll Reporting requirements, ensuring deadlines are met, and preparing monthly third-party payments and files, such as Pension, Healthcare, Union, and month-end reconciliations and payroll journals.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a fast-paced payroll department, with IPASS qualification desirable. They will also have high proficiency in Microsoft Packages and data entry, excellent attention to detail, and strong numeracy skills.
- Supervise and complete the accurate and efficient end-to-end processing of payroll across assigned UK and Irish entities.
- Manage calculations of PAYE, PRSI, USC, and Pensions, and all other statutory and voluntary deductions.
- Responsible for all Revenue Real-Time Payroll Reporting requirements and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Completion of all social welfare, loss of earnings, and other forms required by employees.
- Monitoring and implementing revenue and legislative updates relevant to payroll.
- Preparation of monthly third-party payments and files, e.g., Pension, Healthcare, Union, and month-end reconciliations and payroll journals.
- Proven and extensive experience working in a fast-paced payroll department.
- IPASS qualification desirable.
- Coin's experience a distinct advantage.
- SAP experience a distinct advantage.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Packages and data entry, with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Numeracy skills with particular attention to detail and the ability to analyze and evaluate information.
The selected individual will work closely with HR, Commercial & Finance departments on all payroll and tax-related operations and reporting for management and statutory purposes. They will also liaise with wider HR department in relation to employee information for new hires, exits, and amendments that require processing through local HRIS and payroll systems.
