Financial Expert Role

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a seasoned financial expert to join a well-established team in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and prepare complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Irish GAAP and IFRS.
  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll taxes.
  • Conduct regular financial audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Thorough understanding of Irish GAAP and IFRS principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
