Location: Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 - Hybrid Working 2 days per week in the office moving to 3 days from 1st January 2026-Monday, Tuesday and Thursday-some flexibility required on days but that is planned in advance What is the Role: The Corporate Governance Team ensures there is a simple, efficient and compliant corporate governance structure in place to support the Group. We provide secretariat support and corporate governance advice to a number of senior fora including, the Executive Leadership Team, Group Risk Committee, Group Disclosures Committee, the Board Audit and Risk Committees as well as the Board Advisory Committees. We drive and monitor compliance with legal and regulatory corporate governance requirements, including the CBI Corporate Governance Requirements for Credit Institutions, the UK Corporate Governance Code, relevant EBA requirements and Related Party Lending Obligations in addition to our wider external reporting responsibilities. The Senior Corporate Governance Associate will work closely with the Committee Secretaries to assist with the provision of high quality corporate governance and secretariat support to those Committees within the Corporate Governance team. In addition, the Senior Corporate Governance Associate will be required to support the Corporate Governance team in executing Corporate Governance projects and tasks, as required. Key Accountabilities: Assist the Committee Secretaries in providing end to end corporate governance and secretariat support to the Executive and Board Committees, including review, collate and circulate meetings papers, ensuring meetings packs meet corporate governance standards and committee guidelines. Support the Secretaries in ensuring the Committees are managed efficiently and effectively including setting Work Programmes, Terms of Reference reviews, Effectiveness Evaluations and ongoing continuous improvement. Assist with ad hoc queries and tasks. Take on additional or complimentary responsibilities, Corporate Governance Projects or tasks, as required. Work closely with colleagues across the wider Corporate Governance team in fulfilling the broader accountabilities of the function, as required. Collaborate with and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders. What you Will Bring: Minimum 2 years' experience in risk/compliance/corporate governance/company secretarial within financial services or a regulated entity is desirable. Part qualified or ICSA qualified would also be an advantage. The ability to work in a fast based environment, learn quickly, adapt, work on own initiative and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders. Confidence to offer suggestions and improvements to existing processes and champion them through to implementation. The ability to work with highly sensitive material and information with discretion and confidentiality. A proven ability to deliver high quality service and effectively engage with stakeholders. A systematic and organised approach to your workload, including effective prioritisation, time management and the ability to respond and adapt to rapidly developing situations. Strong MS Office and PowerPoint skills.
