Group Sales Support Executive

About the job

We are looking to recruit a Group Sales Support Executive to work within our Group Sales team, based at our London office in the Clayton Hotel, Chiswick. This is an exciting and varied role which requires an energetic and motivated individual with a good background in sales, administrative, and systems support functions, ideally in the hospitality sector. Attention to detail, adaptability, working to deadlines and a consumer-focused approach are required. The environment is fast-paced, and for the appropriate candidate, an excellent opportunity exists to develop within this role.

Reporting directly to the Group Sales Account Director, the role requires an ability to work on one's own initiative and ensure effective promotion of the brands and group in key market segments.

Key Duties & Objectives

- Work with the Group Sales team on group activity within market segments, primarily of corporate & conferences, to develop relationships and awareness of the group.
- Assist Group Director of Sales, Group Sales & Marketing Managers and Group Business Development Manager with administrative tasks including but not limited to office management, general client enquiries and contact distribution lists.
- Assist as a professional and efficient liaison between clients and the hotel sales teams in communications, prospecting and client relationship efforts for new business enquiries and renewal agreements across the entire group.
- Systems Support across multiple platforms to group & hotel sales teams, assisting with GDS, Alkimii CRM & Events, Leonardo and P3.
- Monitor & evaluate monthly corporate and GDS reporting and production for relevant hotels through in-house reports and intelligence systems.
- Coordinate central office induction for new starters & develop departmental SOPs, including adding them to Dalata Online.
- Manage and monitor department budget and POs.
- Event Organisation – assist with annual Sales Pow Wow, Christmas gifts, etc.

Skills & Experience Required

- 1 year's directly related sales administrative support experience
- Motivation and positive attitude
- Consumer focussed & relationship building
- Good team coordination skills and attention to detail
- Highly organised, strong team player and able to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong project co-ordination & communication skills
- Excellent computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other business applications
