The Role

We are looking for a talented and imaginative Creative Digital Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to transform ideas into visually compelling digital experiences. You will work closely with our marketing, content, and development teams to produce high-quality digital assets across various platforms.

Responsibilities

- Design & Conceptualisation: Develop creative concepts and designs for digital campaigns, websites, social media graphics, email templates, online ads, and more.
- Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling visual narratives that align with our brand and marketing objectives.
- User Experience: Collaborate with UX/UI specialists to design user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all design work adheres to client brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that exceed expectations.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current with design trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Asset Creation: Produce and manage a library of digital assets, including icons, illustrations, and animations.
- Prototyping: Develop prototypes and mockups for client and internal presentations.
- Feedback Implementation: Actively seek and incorporate feedback to improve designs and deliver optimal solutions.

Requirements

- Experience: 5 years + experience as a Digital Designer or in a similar creative role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign) and tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.

- Understanding HTML/CSS and front-end development principles is a plus but not essential.

- Experience with motion graphics and animation is desirable.

- Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and design principles.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and communicate with project managers and colleagues promptly where required.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve design challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity: Passion for design and a drive to experiment with new ideas and techniques.
