The Opportunity
In this role you will:
- Apply your analytical thinking skills to make impactful vendor decisions
- Benchmark the latest industry trends and practices to keep a fresh view on the competitive landscape
- Conduct prequalification and shortlisting of suppliers
- Ensure documentation is well organised and accessible
- Expertly negotiate agreements with pricing agreements with external partners
- Have a passion for reducing costs and a track record of success in this area
- Lead key meetings to monitor progress and collaborate on solving problems
- Manage contract development, finalisation, and administration with rigorous attention to detail
- Provide updates via reporting and dashboards
- Recommend awards based upon your bid analysis and market knowledge
- Use your excellent focus on details and organizational skills to keep the team running smoothly

- Have recently completed a degree in procurement or supply chain management related discipline
