IT Procurement Specialist

A Procurement Expert is required to lead IT procurement activities ensuring best practices and regulatory compliance.
About This Role- The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating IT procurement tasks with the Supply Market Team, creating procurement plans, managing supplier selection and contracts, maintaining contract registers, and ensuring efficient operation of the purchase-to-pay system for IT procurement.
- You will act as the first point of contact for all project's IT procurement, deliver IT procurement activities as directed by senior management, and support the project's team with expertise and assistance on a day-to-day basis.
- Coordinate with Supply Market Team to ensure timely and compliant execution of IT procurement activities.
- Develop and implement procurement plans to achieve value for money objectives and comply with EU Procurement Directives and Irish National Regulations and laws.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and maintain contract records in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely information is provided to stakeholders via monthly procurement progress reports.
- Liaise with Procurement Leaders to plan and schedule resource allocation, manage day-to-day team operations, and prepare briefing packs and pre-qualification questionnaires.
- Evaluate tenders, prepare recommendation for award of contract, and coordinate authorisation of contract award recommendation.
- Maintain documents in accordance with company Document Management Procedures and participate in progress meetings to discuss procurement and assurance plans.
- Take reasonable care of your own and others' health, safety, and wellbeing by working to company Target Zero principles.
