Senior Technical Analyst Permanent, Hybrid, Dublin About the Company My client is a leading financial services organisation providing fund administration and investment operations support across a wide range of regulated and alternative investment products. About the Position My client is looking to add a Senior Technical Analyst to their team who will be focused on IT Infrastructure Support. The team is responsible for Network & infrastructure, DR and Business continuity and out of hours support. All system releases and test environments are also managed by the team. The Team also has a security function that manages security products and champions supporting awareness and strategic campaigns. The Senior Technical Analyst is responsible for the delivery, support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure environments, which include Production, Business Continuity and Data Centre with a focus on Network, VDI Infrastructure and Exchange infrastructure. This role is also pivotal in the delivery of infrastructure projects, changes and improvements. Key Responsibilities Maintain existing Production Environment infrastructure and enterprise systems based on business capacity requirements Ensure the companys technology infrastructure continues to run in an efficient manner Assist with the monitoring, maintenance, upgrade & support of the IT infrastructure A point of escalation for the helpdesk and to act as the 3rd line ICT specialist. Responsible for the day-to-day management of key delivery partners and vendors Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures Ensure compliance with the Team Service Level Agreement Develop appropriate Key performance Indicators and measurements which provide visibility to Senior Management on day to activities Work closely with the DBA and Development teams to support production systems. Identify and assist in closing any knowledge and/or skill gaps within the IT team Liaise with the development, project, testing and operations teams. Work with Planning departments on the planning, scheduling and implementation of IT projects Ensure all procedures related to Release management are fully maintained and continuously enhanced Work with senior IT management to enhance all policies related to technology use in the organization Experience/Requirements Experience of supporting Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and also support of all aspects of Windows based desktop operating systems. Network administration in a Microsoft environment. Administration / Upgrade of Microsoft Exchange. In-depth Knowledge of Networking e.g TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routers, switches and V-LANs Citrix Full Desktop & Applications Mgmt. Advanced knowledge of MS Teams Config & Administration. VMware design, implementation and support. Backup Strategy & Disaster Recovery. Maintaining both cloud based and on-prem IT Infrastructure. Data Centre Management / Migrations. Must be able to adapt to a changing technology landscape and learn new systems and tools, etc. as required. Desirable Key Requirements ITIL certification Prince/PMP certification or project methodology experience. MCSE/MCSA, VCP-DCV 2020 , CCNA, CompTIA Knowledge of basic backup technologies MS SQL experience Release management and change control processes Crowdstrike Admin Experience InTune Config/Admin Experience Windows Patching Experience (via SCCM, WSUS or alternative) Experience with the Manage Engine Suite of Products Experience in a Fund Administration company supporting critical business application Infrastructure Remuneration Package Generous package on offer including competitive salary and benefits.
