The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Billing Systems Solutions Analyst to join our Finance Department playing a key role in the development of our billing systems. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Billing Systems. They will leverage their previous knowledge and experiences and combine them with a desire to develop, enhance, and continually improve our billing processes. Job Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert on our billing and revenue recognition solutions, demonstrating deep understanding of order-to-cash processes and customer journeys. Help define the roadmap for the Billing product, aligned with strategic goals, customer needs, and technological trends. Carry out data analysis/modelling to identify gaps and opportunities to improve the billing systems. Work with key stakeholders to identify and document functional, operational and testing requirements for projects impacting billing systems. Gather, analyse, and prioritize requirements in a clear and concise manner. This includes writing user stories, managing the product backlog, and ensuring all stakeholders have a unified understanding of the product specifications. Assess & support initiatives driven by other departments ensuring Finance and Billing requirements are considered. Leverage billing expertise to ensure compliance with regulations Candidate Skills and Experience: Energy industry experience would be a distinct advantage Technical qualification in science, maths or engineering or relevant experience in a billing environment. 5+ years of current experience in billing and payments. Process analysis and mapping skills with strong planning and organising skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking with a capacity to accurately assess and understand the impact of change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for customer success and dedication to championing the customer voice Extensive experience in requirements gathering, analysis, verification, and the ability to articulate complex solutions. Experience in the management of backlogs, and prioritising them based on business needs.
