Barden is delighted to be partnering with a growing Irish transport business to identify a Part-time Payroll Administrator to join their finance function on a permanent basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

1. Carrying out cash reconciliations and ensuring records are up to date.
2. Preparing regular cash flow and reconciliation reports.
3. Communicating with management to flag and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Supporting senior payroll staff in the preparation and processing of payroll.
5. Handling employee pay and personal information.
6. Assisting in maintaining accurate and timely payroll and cash data to support data integrity.
7. Responding promptly to employee queries related to payroll matters.
8. Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll and cash processes.
9. Providing support on various ad hoc projects, including employee communications and follow-ups.

ABOUT THE PERSON

1. 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing full-cycle Irish payroll in a large-scale organisation.
2. Experience using payroll software such as Megapay (preferred), Micropay, Sage, or similar systems.
3. Demonstrated experience handling complex, high-volume payrolls with frequent updates and changes.
4. Solid understanding of payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
5. A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
