Our clients, a daytime café/restaurant and catering company, a known and trusted brand in Limerick operating for 21 years with properties in Raheen and Castletroy, are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join their team.

The Role:

As Restaurant Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations in the café, manage the team, and oversee the planning and coordination of the on-going growing catering arm.

In addition to the vibrant café/restaurant, our clients have a significant recurring trade with large corporate clients and provide bespoke corporate catering for private events, business functions, and special occasions, making every moment memorable for our corporate clients. Key Responsibilities to include:

·Lead, support, and motivate café and catering staff

·Oversee café floor operations and customer service delivery

·Manage staffing, rotas, hiring, and training

·Drive sales and maintain high standards

·Coordinate catering bookings, menu planning with head chef, and logistics

·Monitor stock levels, supplier relations, and cost controls

·Uphold food hygiene, health & safety, and quality standards

·Respond to customer feedback and handle operational issues professionally

·Understand and manage key business margins (KPI)

·Assist in strategic business planning

·Be a key part of ensuring both in-house and off-site services run smoothly and exceed customer expectations.

Skills & Experience that we need:

·Self-motivated leader who is passionate and committed to delivering exceptional service standards, great coffee, delicious food, and leading & coaching a dynamic team

·Strong communication skills are key and the ability to deal with staff, customers and suppliers in a variety of situations

·Hospitality is a people industry, so there has to be room for someone who enjoys a little fun

·A talented manager, who is business, focused, organised and enjoys the challenge of running a business as if it were their own and would like to take the business to the next level

·Can act as a brand ambassador for the company

·Proven management experience in café, hospitality, or catering management

·Strong leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills

·Confidence in working both front-of-house and behind the scenes with administration

·A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving with a "Can do "Attitude

·Knowledge of food handling regulations and catering logistics is a plus

·Passion for food, coffee, and aware of industry trends and innovations

The Offer:

This is a full time permanent onsite role based in Limerick with competitive base salary of €35K per annum, with bonus payments when targets are achieved
