Restaurant Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Restaurant Operations Lead to join our team. This is a full-time permanent onsite role based in Limerick with opportunities for growth as the catering services expand.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position responsible for the day-to-day operations of our café and restaurant, including managing the team, overseeing planning and coordination of our growing catering arm, and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to motivate and support their team members, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

*Lead and manage café floor operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and food quality
*Manage staffing, rotas, hiring, and training to maintain a motivated and skilled team
*Drive sales and maintain high standards through effective inventory management and cost control
*Coordinate catering bookings, menu planning, and logistics to meet customer needs
*Monitor stock levels, supplier relations, and maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety

Requirements:

*Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with a strong track record of leading and motivating teams
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with staff, customers, and suppliers in a variety of situations
*Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
*Knowledge of food handling regulations and catering logistics is a plus
