Key Responsibilities

Provide specialist assessment, management, and treatment of adult patients with swallowing and communication disorders.

Act as a clinical lead in dysphagia management within the hospital.

Support, mentor, and supervise junior colleagues and students.

Contribute to service development, audit, and evidence-based practice.

Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.

Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with significant practice in adult dysphagia.

Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centred care.
