This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team responsible for shaping the Woodies omni-channel experience to grow revenue and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Our Digital department is seeking a Digital Trading & Merchandise Admin to support digital revenue growth and enhance customer experience. The role involves maintaining a great online shopping experience, balancing brand and commerce across all categories on Woodies.ie. We are looking for someone passionate about retail and products, with a commercial mindset and innovative ideas to excel as a top omni-channel DIY retailer.

Key ownership areas include:

Enriching product data to improve conversion, optimizing site navigation, onsite merchandising, sorting rules, upselling and cross-selling, and content planning to deliver the best customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Upload

- Enrich online product content to improve discoverability and enhance the website experience.
- Collaborate with buying teams to track new products and manage their upload workflow.
- Coordinate communication and imagery/content sharing with e-commerce partners.
- Create reports to track uploaded products and identify gaps.
- Assign products to appropriate attributes and categories following guidelines.
- Upload, process, and quality check product imagery and copy assets.
- Resize and rename images using Photoshop and upload to backend systems.
- Manage seasonal product uploads within deadlines.
- Prioritize and communicate about high-priority product uploads with relevant teams.

Site Trading

- Activate promotions and events on Woodies.ie and support their digital marketing.
- Gather and update brand campaign assets on the site seasonally and timely.
- Identify and promote priority and bestseller products across the site.
- Manage site calendar and updates for category landing pages.
- Oversee product launches and the removal of outdated or clearance items.
