Laois Salary: €35,000 per annum Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (1 year maternity cover) The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a motivated and organised Meeting & Event Executive on a 1-year maternity cover contract in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a passion for event management and customer service to join a dynamic team delivering outstanding meetings and events within a luxury hotel environment. As Meeting & Event Executive, you will be responsible for the smooth organisation and delivery of a wide range of events including corporate meetings, conferences, and private functions. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure every detail is executed flawlessly, enhancing the guest experience and driving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all aspects of meetings, conferences, and events from initial enquiry to completion. Liaise with clients to understand requirements and tailor event solutions accordingly. Collaborate with sales, catering, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution. Prepare event proposals, contracts, and manage bookings efficiently. Maintain accurate event documentation and communication records. Assist in upselling additional services and amenities to enhance client experiences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events. Requirements Previous experience in a similar meetings and events role, ideally within a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in event management software and MS Office suite. Professional and approachable manner. Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland (ROI). Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
