The Chief Financial Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance, investor relations, and strategic analysis. This key position combines financial control, reporting, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Consolidate financial results from subsidiaries into parent entities.
- Act as the primary liaison and reviewer for finance teams, ensuring data integrity.
- Develop and enforce consistent accounting policies and reporting standards.
- Manage relationships with auditors for consolidation.
- Oversee treasury and cash management.
- Prepare financial due diligence materials for institutional investors.
- Serve as the key financial contact for investors, delivering detailed reports on asset performance and financial metrics.
- Respond to complex investor queries.
- Translate operational data into financial outcomes in collaboration with technical teams.
- Oversee valuations of biological assets.
- Manage and report on foreign exchange risk.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting process.
Required Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5+ years post-qualification experience. Fluent in English and Spanish, Strong IFRS consolidation experience.
