About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to provide high-quality care to children and young people in residential settings.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Children with Complex Needs: Providing emotional, behavioural, or mental health support to children and young people in short-term, long-term, or high-support placements.
- Develop Care Plans: Collaborating with colleagues to develop tailored care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow, develop, and prepare for more independent living.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 18 Months' Experience in Children's Residential Care: Proven experience working with children and young people in residential settings.
- Level 7 Qualification in Social Care or Related Discipline: Holding a relevant qualification and up-to-date knowledge of best practices in social care.
- CORU Registered or In Process Application: Eligible to work in Ireland and registered with CORU or in process application.
