Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage and optimize indirect spend across IT categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy & Spend Analysis: Develop and implement IT category strategy, becoming an expert in market trends and supplier landscapes. Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive sourcing initiatives.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and lead end-to-end sourcing processes. Conduct supplier negotiations, leveraging external market intelligence where needed. Oversee contracting activities in collaboration with Legal, Data Protection, and Security teams.
  • Supplier & Process Management: Ensure compliance with procurement policy and minimize off-contract spend. Build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders. Drive use of procurement systems and catalogues, consolidating spend with preferred vendors.

Requirements:

  • Essential: 5+ years' experience managing high-value procurement contracts, ideally within IT categories. Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to lead tendering processes and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Desirable: Procurement or finance-related qualifications (e.g., CIPS, accounting certification). Familiarity with legal/GDPR contracting and vendor compliance. Experience in retail, wholesale, or similar complex business environments.
