Microbiological Laboratory Specialist

Our company is seeking an experienced Microbiological Laboratory Specialist to join their team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining laboratory data integrity, conducting environmental and microbiological tests, and developing laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain alignment with laboratory documentation and computerized systems data integrity requirements.
  • Understand regulations and business processes required to maintain laboratory data integrity.
  • Conduct environmental and microbiological tests as required.
  • Define and update procedures for the plant relative to microbiological and environmental testing.
  • Validate equipment and test methods for microbiological tests.
  • Transfer microbiological test methods.
  • Develop laboratory procedures for microbiological testing.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all tests performed.
Qualifications:
  • Third-level qualification in microbiology or equivalent science discipline.
  • Knowledge of aseptic processes' manipulation and experience within a GLP/GMP environment.
  • Lab experience within industry - bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion, and environmental monitoring.
  • Experience working in a sterile cleanroom environment.
