Senior Infrastructure Development Professional

This role involves providing high-quality civil engineering services across various project stages, from feasibility through to detailed design and construction. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and delivering civil infrastructure projects, including surface water analysis, flood risk assessments, highway and pavement design, earthworks modelling, and familiarity with DMRB and DMURS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Collaborate with the design team to deliver designs on time and within budget.
  • Civil Engineering Expertise: Apply technical knowledge across multi-disciplinary projects, focusing on drainage design from conceptual phases to implementation.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to QA/QC procedures, identify risks early, and work with clients to overcome challenges regarding programme and budget.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work with internal and external engineers and stakeholders to deliver integrated designs and build strong relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered status with IEI, ICE, or relevant institution.
  • Experience in design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from inception to handover, including SUDs, water main distribution pipelines, storm and foul networks, and highway design.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Microdrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
  • Ability to undertake site inspections, test witnessing, reporting, and handling technical RFIs during construction.
