This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful organization as a Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in a financial accounting role, preferably in a law firm environment. Experience in month end tasks, statutory financial reporting, and proficiency in financial systems are essential.
A recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is required. Additionally, strong knowledge of Irish accounting and tax regulations, advanced Excel skills, and attention to detail are desirable.
The role involves maintaining up-to-date books and records, processing day-to-day transactions, understanding and ensuring full compliance with Law Society Accounting Regulations, dealing with all bank payments, and managing creditors and payroll.
Key deliverables include salaries & wages, VAT returns etc. This role has the potential to progress into a Financial Controller position in the future, as the company continues to grow.
