Senior IT Project Manager Position

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile ICT project, ensuring timely delivery and effective management of stakeholders.

Job Description

As the Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the eMarketplace project. This will involve collaborating with senior-level stakeholders to understand their business objectives and defining services that meet their needs and expectations.

Key duties will include managing third-party partner and supplier contracts, leading a team of project staff members, and ensuring specified services are delivered against service descriptions and specifications.

Additionally, you will align services and projects with standards for architecture and security, manage UAT at each stage of the project, and prepare budgetary proposals.

The ideal candidate will have five years' experience working at an intermediate level in IT or a related area, as well as experience implementing two IT projects within budget and timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience providing leadership in large organisations with diverse stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of formal methodologies (PRINCE2, ITIL) and current best practice for IT projects and services
  • Working knowledge of IT Architecture for finance enterprise systems

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively across organisational boundaries.
