A customs clearance agent is needed to oversee the smooth and timely flow of customs procedures. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of customs brokerage processes, classification, valuation, and origin.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely data entry into operational systems, tracking custom files, and reporting. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for verifying customs declaration information and submitting it to the relevant authorities. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and excellent communication skills are essential.

The minimum requirements for this role include at least one year of experience in import customs clearance entry within a forwarding environment. The candidate must also have a good understanding of ocean, road, and air documentation processes, as well as classification, valuation, and origin. Fluent English language skills and a proactive approach are required.
