Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Retail Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, leading a team of employees, and ensuring excellent customer service.

About the Role

  • Assist the store manager in overseeing all daily activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Mentor and oversee employees in accordance with the Store Manager's instructions.
  • Take full responsibility for all store operations when the store manager is not present.
  • Support the store manager in merchandising, customer service, and human resources.
  • Average a day's work at the store, including arranging and reporting on daily operations.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and managing staff.
  • Schedule staff, evaluate performance, and implement disciplinary measures.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels by monitoring stock.
  • Contribute to recruitment and sales strategies.
  • Review and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly goals, and explain business trends to upper management.
  • Ensure health and safety laws are followed.
  • Keep the store neat, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing.

Requirements

  • Experience leading, motivating, and training teams.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform all floor activities, including reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting goods.
