Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Our organization is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Key responsibilities of this role include ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, participating in sustainability initiatives, developing SOPs for environmental compliance, and participating in EHS audits and inspections.
Job Description:- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulatory requirements for the site
- Participate in environmental sustainability and innovative efficiencies for the site
- Develop SOP's and Policies for environmental compliance onsite
- Participate in all EHS audits and inspections, internal and external
- Develop and deliver on-site EHS training
- Thorough knowledge of EHS legislation for a pharmaceutical facility operating within Ireland/Europe
- Operational Safety Experience: Safe Systems of Work
- Able to logically solve problems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good ability to produce technical reports
- Diploma / BS/ BA in Environmental Science or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience working in an EHS role within the pharmaceutical industry (preferred)
