Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team. As HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters to managers and staff across the organization.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and competence in HSE matters.
  • Monitor and report on key HSE metrics and performance indicators.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate qualification or equivalent.
  • Quality auditing skills for process audits.
  • Awareness of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 an advantage.
  • Background in hire industry, logistics, warehousing or construction an advantage.
