The Team- The Operations Office is central to delivering our primary role – operating, developing, and enhancing the power system and wholesale electricity market.
- We have various roles at different experience levels in topics like load flow studies, system analysis, outage management, implementing technical procedures, commissioning transmission infrastructure, HVDC integration, Control Centre readiness, Grid and Network Code management, and more.
- Maintaining operational security standards.
- Managing planned and unplanned outages, voltage control, generator testing, scheduling, dispatch, risk management, and responding to alarms and constraints.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
- You'll have an Engineering degree or equivalent, with a minimum 6 years' post-qualification experience in power system operations.
- You'll work collaboratively with customers and internal/external stakeholders, guiding and persuading others through developed communication and diplomacy skills.
- You'll be comfortable working with large data sets, analyzing it to find conclusions.
