At TCP Homecare, we are seeking a skilled Healthcare Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless and smooth pathways for patients referred to us.

TCP Homecare is a healthcare service provider specializing in 'direct to patient services.' We offer a unique turnkey solution for the delivery of hospital care in the patient's home. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest standard of service at all times.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of calls from both healthcare professionals and patients, providing help and advice while ensuring accurate information is gathered.
- Accept and process patient referrals through our bespoke electronic system with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Familiarize yourself with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows processes to ensure accurate execution.
- Maintain records, correspondence, databases, documentation in accurate and legible formats within agreed policies.
- Exercise attention to detail in all aspects of your role.
- Participate in company meetings, training sessions, and other business-related events in a prepared and punctual manner.
- Contribute to filing, scanning, and general office administrative tasks.
- Report customer concerns as required and complete any investigations requested by management.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, making decisions quickly and effectively while being part of a collaborative team.
- Present yourself professionally and ethically at all times.
- Ensure courteous, polite, and respectful interactions with customers, clients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Develop interdepartmental recognition, relationships, and teamwork by communicating relevant information and maintaining a seamless process for all patients/customers.
- Administer daily/weekly/monthly documentation for departmental reviews and reports.
- Schedule and coordinate activities according to service requirements.
- Assist in developing patient management protocols.
- Support the development of patient IT systems and services.
Key Desirables:
- Strong PC, administration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Familiarity or knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work independently and make decisions quickly and effectively.
- Previous experience working as a medical administrator will be beneficial.
