Our team is seeking an Operational Database Administrator to manage complex databases that provide healthcare applications and data.

This role will be responsible for installing and administering operational database environments based on InterSystems IRIS, and performing environment setup and configuration, proactive monitoring, and maintenance.

About the Role

In this position, you will work closely with our development team to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable databases that support our healthcare applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance databases using InterSystems IRIS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues
  • Develop and implement scripts and automation tools to streamline database management tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong experience with Linux administration, including scripting and troubleshooting
  • Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of SQL and data modeling
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
