Italian Business Process Specialist

We are seeking an Italian Operations Administrator to join our team. The role will involve executing daily business operations, managing client relationships, and adapting to change in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing transactions at policy level, including new business, top-ups, switches, surrenders, and death claims
  • Managing the policy lifecycle from onboarding to day-to-day BAU requests related to the Italian portfolio
  • Liaising with asset managers, custodian banks, and intermediaries to ensure client expectations are met
  • Entering data to produce business forms, adhering to SLAs when managing transactions, and conducting due-diligence steps
  • Verifying and sending orders to stakeholders, executing payment instructions, and reviewing procedures for documents required by custodian banks and asset managers
  • Producing transaction confirmation letters and valuation statements, as well as business reports for analysis
  • Coordinating post arrivals and managing shipments with post services, and assisting in projects for new tool implementations and user acceptance testing
  • Taking ownership of operational queries and tasks assigned, working efficiently to manage workload, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement

The ideal candidate will have +2 years' experience in operations of financial institutions, brokerage, or life insurance, knowledge of the financial-banking environment, and proficiency in Italian and English. Additional languages, such as German, are a plus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential. Self-motivation, resilience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are also required.
