Job Overview

This is a leadership position based in Ireland, focusing on video content production.

The ideal candidate will be embedded in our newsroom, working closely with reporters and editors to deliver high-quality video content that meets our audience's needs.

You will oversee the entire video production process, from planning and scripting to shooting, editing, and uploading content. Your goal will be to create engaging videos that showcase our brand's personality and values.

This role requires strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage a team of video producers, editors, and other support staff.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of video professionals to produce original content for regional/brand audiences.
  • Oversee the video production process from planning to delivery, ensuring timely completion and high quality standards.
  • Develop and implement video strategies to meet business objectives, working closely with editors and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with journalists to integrate video content into daily news output, enhancing our overall storytelling.
  • Shoot high-quality footage to support video content creation, adhering to brand style guides and legal/compliance requirements.
  • Manage video workflows and production timelines, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources efficiently.
  • Distribute video content across various platforms, optimizing engagement and reach.
