Job Summary:

As a Capital Projects Leader, you will provide technical guidance across various project-related activities. Your expertise in designing, developing, and validating manufacturing technologies is crucial for this role, particularly in areas such as CNC machining, metrology, packaging, biomaterial production, and coatings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of new equipment and process changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate process layouts to ensure optimal utilization of floor space and efficient process flow.
  • Develop and implement supporting documentation, SOPs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process work instructions compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Transfer and implement processes from development or other manufacturing facilities.
  • Own budgetary, scheduling, and project databases, reporting regularly on progress and potential issues affecting cost or schedule.
  • Develop specifications for new equipment purchases in the form of a URS.
  • Conduct MSA studies for products and new processes.
  • Serve as technical lead for projects, including scoping, approval, budgeting, specification, execution, qualification, and operational handover.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proven project engineering skills through the delivery of business-critical projects.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to lead, influence, and provide technical direction to engineers, technicians, and operators.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handling multiple tasks effectively.
