Electrical Shift Technician Role

This position involves performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a data center operation. The role is part of the critical services job function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily site inspections of all mechanical systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring the site's environmental conditions meet required standards.
  • Respond to building management system alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with company processes and procedures.
  • Notify management if vendor performance does not meet requirements.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
Requirements:
  • Prior training in a technical discipline, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of formal education, a combination of experience and training will be considered.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must meet the physical demands of this role.
  • Effective communication skills to present information to internal teams, clients, and management.
