We are seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences and has a strong passion for food and cooking. In this role, you will assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within your assigned section. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of your station and ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.

  • Preparation and Presentation: Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within your assigned section according to established recipes and standards.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Portion Control and Waste Reduction: Monitor portion control and minimize waste to support kitchen efficiency.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations.
  • Innovation and Development: Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu items through suggestions and feedback.
  • Junior Staff Support: Support junior staff with training and guidance as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned, maintained, and stored.

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or a strong commis background in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen.
  • Culinary Qualification: Culinary qualification or relevant training preferred.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards (e.g., HACCP).
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for food.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
