Job Title:

 

Co-operative Housing Ireland seeks a part-time Health & Safety Officer to manage workplace safety and wellness.

 

  • Responsibilities:

    • Provide proactive health & safety advice
    • Conduct regular safety audits, develop & deliver training, and create risk assessments
    • Ensure up-to-date safety statements with legislation and promote awareness
    • Lead the quarterly H&S employee representative group
    • Maintain accurate records and produce reports for various stakeholders
    • Organise employee training or assessments as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Previous relevant experience is desirable
  • Relevant third-level qualification in Health & Safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Discreet and professional at all times, respecting confidentiality
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritise and work in a structured, organised manner
