Health Safety Professional - Part-time Opportunity
Co-operative Housing Ireland is seeking a part-time Health Safety Officer to provide workplace health and safety advice, conduct safety audits, develop and deliver training programs, and produce risk assessments.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively providing health and safety advice to the organisation, ensuring that all necessary procedures are in place and up-to-date. This includes conducting regular safety audits, developing and delivering training programs, and producing risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of health and safety advice to employees and management;
- Conducting regular safety audits and identifying areas for improvement;
- Developing and delivering training programs to ensure compliance with relevant legislation;
- Producing risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable;
- Relevant third-level qualification;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Discreet and professional at all times respecting confidentiality.
