Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file accurate Value Added Tax (VAT) returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines.
- Process and manage PAYE/PRSI calculations and submissions, including year-end returns.
- Handle Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT), ensuring correct deductions and submissions for relevant payments.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation to ensure continuous compliance.
- Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
- Manage and process client invoicing, including sales invoices and credit notes.
- Maintain and update debtors' ledgers, ensuring accurate recording of outstanding payments and assisting with debtor management.
- Process supplier invoices and expenses, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an accountancy practice or a fast-paced business environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to tasks and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, particularly with financial data.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
