Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Process Engineering Manager to lead projects in regulated food manufacturing using Evaporation and Spray Drying.

  • Manages projects in regulated food manufacturing using Evaporation and Spray Drying.
  • Develops and explains automated processes to the team.
  • Cultivates the technical skills of the team members.
  • Ensures new equipment is validated to meet quality standards.
  • Prepares process flows, specifications, and operating instructions.
  • Monitors key variables (e.g. temperature, pressure, viscosity) during production.
  • Troubleshoots process/equipment issues cross-functionally.
  • Maintains compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:
• Degree in Food Process Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years' engineering experience
• Dairy/Food Process Engineering background preferred
• Knowledge of spray drying or evaporation beneficial
• Experience with thermal dairy processing desirable
• Familiarity with powder conveying systems
• Understanding of ATEX environments advantageous
• Strong experience in automated pharma/food manufacturing essential
