We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Quality Engineer to lead our quality control initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the development and implementation of procedures that guarantee product excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • New Product Introductions: Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new products into our manufacturing process.
  • Engineering Change Notices: Effectively manage and document engineering change notices to minimize disruptions and optimize productivity.
  • Manufacturing Work Instructions: Develop and update comprehensive manufacturing work instructions to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Liaison with Suppliers: Establish strong relationships with suppliers to resolve technical and quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Metal Fabrication and Electrical Assembly: Oversee sheet metal fabrication and electrical assembly processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Bills of Material and Cost Savings: Manage Bills of Material and drive cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.
  • Preventive Maintenance and External Contractors: Coordinate preventive maintenance and external contractors to maintain equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Safety Audits and Meetings: Conduct safety audits, attend regular meetings, and support 5S initiatives to foster a safe working environment.
  • Regulatory Audits: Lead ISO and other regulatory audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Data Analysis: Collect and analyze quality data for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Corrective Action Reports: Address quality issues via Corrective Action Reports to minimize defects and improve product quality.
  • Supplier Returns and Credits: Manage supplier returns, credits, and quality KPIs to optimize supply chain performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (non-FDA preferred).
  • Experience in sheet metal and electrical assembly is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor and Excel is required.
