As a Project Manager at Clancy Construction, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commitment to health, safety, and environment (HSE) culture. This involves creating an embedded HSE culture through proactive approaches and responsible practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Contracts Manager with day-to-day project operations, ensuring seamless collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the workforce involved in the project.
  • Verify plans, drawings, and supervision of subcontractors to guarantee project progress.
  • Plan work efficiently, meeting strict deadlines while maintaining quality control and safety measures.
  • Responsible for resolving unexpected technical difficulties and addressing any problems that arise during the project.
  • Communicate clearly with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, and consultants, providing regular updates on project progress.

As a Site Manager, you will oversee quality control and safety matters on site, ensuring adherence to regulations and guidelines. Additionally, you will supervise direct staff and subcontractors, handle technical queries, and interface with clients, consultants, and architects regarding RFIs.

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Ideally, experience within a main/specialist contractor.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, or similar scheduling packages.
  • Good knowledge of safety management and quality management.
  • Ability to lead with confidence, mentor, and motivate staff under their supervision.
