About the Role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. This role will involve analyzing and monitoring market trends, industry financial performance, and company valuations to identify opportunities for growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and monitor stock market, industry financial performance, and company valuations to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze and monitor macroeconomic, technological, and social news and trends to understand their impact on the business.
  • Develop internal reports and presentations to keep leadership abreast of key external trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct analyses of markets, trends, industry data, regulatory environment, and competitors to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and understand implications of construction trends and competitive dynamics to articulate potential scenarios.
  • Quantitatively assess the implications of findings, including financial analysis where relevant.
  • Continually refresh perspectives on external trends and changes to the business landscape.
  • Help drive and manage internal strategic projects and support decision-making processes.

  • Strategic mindset and strong interest in current and future business trends.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills with ability to gather and filter large amounts of information and data, and to present clearly and concisely.
  • Good financial and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on results.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable liaising with senior management.
  • Ability to multitask within tight deadlines.
