Director of Programmes

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead our project and programme management team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for heading up a multidisciplinary team covering project and programme management, commercial, digital and production management and sustainable solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a business development and growth strategy to realise ambitions and grow revenue streams
  • Leading proposal and tender preparation, positioning the consultancy competitively in the industry
  • Nurturing client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Representing the company at industry events, networking functions, and professional forums
About You

We are looking for a talented individual with the following skills and experience:

  • Business acumen: strategic mindset with a track record of identifying growth opportunities and securing new business
  • Leadership and communication: proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, negotiate with stakeholders, and present ideas effectively
  • Project management expertise: proven experience in successfully managing complex projects in an engineering consultancy or similar environment
  • Risk and quality management: ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Sustainability: strong interest in helping lead the integration of sustainable and low carbon solutions
