Temporary Goods Inwards Manager Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised professional to manage the day-to-day duties of stock movements in and out of our business through the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the store team to achieve high standards of excellence.
  • Oversee stock entering and leaving our business via our supply chain.
  • Primary responsibility for staff management, driver management, accurate detail checking of products, and correct recording of entries.
  • Maintain high safety standards and excellent housekeeping management.
Duties:
  1. Manage the core Point of Sale system relating to this part of the process.
  2. Develop and utilise daily and weekly reports.
  3. Identify and eliminate time-wasting tasks by automation or education.
  4. Schedule and provide weekly/monthly reports as required.
  5. Assist with sales floor holiday and day-off cover.
  6. Manage the team to maintain each area under your primary responsibility.
  7. Engage in constant communication with colleagues on planning and efficiency.
  8. Assist with stock takes as required throughout the year.
  9. Carry out other ad-hoc duties as required from management.

Experience: Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, people management, and motivational skills are essential. Highly motivated and computer-literate, excellent organisation, leadership, and commercial awareness.

Requirements: Must be efficient with a good track record in meeting deadlines. Person must be proactive and willing to suggest improvements while showing initiative.

Availability: Must be available to work Sunday to Saturday inclusive.
