Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hatchery equipment.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in hatchery maintenance and possess strong organizational skills, basic math skills, and good electrical knowledge.
- Maintain and direct all maintenance activities to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment.
- Manage parts inventory effectively and perform general maintenance tasks as required.
- Conduct plant safety audits and coordinate preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair all equipment and machinery within the hatchery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Manage parts inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and timely ordering of spare parts.
- Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Preventative Maintenance: Coordinate and participate in regular preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce equipment failures.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in hatchery maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights as required.
- Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
